Celebrating Love in The Air
Beth Stovall — soprano
James Taylor — tenor
John Tabler — keyboard accompanist
Beth is an accomplished vocalist who also serves as a Lecturer in Voice at UNC - Wilmington. A member of the Concert Choir, she was the featured soloist in the choir with NC Baroque Symphony Orchestra’s performance of Bach’s St. John Passion and has had extensive lead roles in operas and musicals.
James is a well-known soloist and collaborative artist in Eastern North Carolina. He is also an active and enthusiastic choral musician having performed with Wilmington Voices, The Raleigh Bach Soloists, Carolina Choral Artists and The Rocky Mount Chamber Singers. In addition to his choral experience, he performs regionally in a variety of solo and oratorio performances and has also ben professionally contracted by the North Carolina Opera and Opera Wilmington. He also serves as the Business Services Coordinator for the Office of the Arts at UNCW.
This program of music, suitable for organ instruments, will feature orchestral works transcribed and also suitable for keyboard and a small ensemble. Works performed will be by John Rutter, Ennio Morricone, Handel and Rachmaninoff.
